I’ve been running with my Garmin Forerunner 235 for almost 4 months now, so I think it’s finally time to give this (awesome) sucker a full review.
Many of you have asked (via Instagram) what I think about the Garmin Forerunner 235, and my general response has been that I LOVE it! But many of you have also aske me to do a full, in-depth review, so … here it is!
For a health and fitness blogger living in New York City, I’m a very slow adopter of new workouts, so it’s only fitting that it’s taken me this long to finally try Orangetheory Fitness: a group personal training workout class that promises to keep your body burning calories for up to 36 hours after the workout — or as they call it, “the afterburn.”

Well, well, well… It sure has been a while since I last shared some of my favorite food finds with you all.
When I was blogging more frequently I was trying new foods on the regular and sharing my new favorites was a weekly occurrence. Now I work a 9 to 5 job and rarely stray from my go to meals and snacks. (I’m so boring, I know!)
Buuuuut! Thanks to FitFluential and their awesome hook-ups, I was recently introduced to Detour Bar Protein Bars and I’m excited to share them with you as one of my new favorite food finds.

Music is one of the reasons why I love running so much. In fact, it’s what got me through those first few really rough months when I was first starting out. That time when almost every workout was a struggle and I had shin splints so painful I thought they’d never go away. Through all of that, looking forward to rocking out to my favorite songs while I ran was what kept me motivated to keep running.
