This running playlist has me pumped, hungry friends! I haven’t shared one of my running playlists in quite a while, but it used to be a regular thing here on Hungry Runner. When I decided that I wanted to keep blogging after a short break from it earlier this year, I thought about why I started and what I originally loved about it so much.
One of those things was being able to share my running playlists because I truly, genuinely enjoyed finding the best running songs and curating them into a kick-butt running playlist that really had me amped to run. That musical motivation was key to keeping my running routine consistent in those early days when I first started running.
Now I can run without music (and it’s recommended that we do every now and then) and I’ve also gotten pretty into listening to podcasts, but I most certainly still enjoy running to my favorite songs. There’s just something about it that makes me feel like I’m flying instead of running.
Need some new running songs for your playlist? Pump up your #run with @hungry_runner’s current favorite #running songs!
So, the plan is to get back into the habit of sharing my running playlists here each month, with the hope that it will help give y’all that extra motivational boost if you need it and that you can find some new favorite running songs too!
Here’s what I’ve been listening to while I run for most of November (and also what I ran to during the Philly Half Marathon this past Saturday)!
Running Playlist: Best Running Songs Nov. 2017
My top favorite running songs from this list right now are definitely Ed Sheeran’s Galway Girl (it’s so fricken fun!) and Hymn and Praying (not your typical upbeat running song, but just so so good!) by Kesha.
Are any of these songs also on your running playlist right now? What songs aren’t on my list that totally should be? Leave a comment and let me know!
