If you think oatmeal for breakfast is boring, you’re doing it wrong. Oatmeal is the one of the best breakfast foods because not only is it healthy and extremely convenient, but you can add almost anything to it. Like apples. And almond butter, and cinnamon, and granola. The possibilities are endless.

This recipe sort of reminds me of the Fall. But trust me on this one, it will taste amazing no matter what time of the year you make it.

What You’ll Need:

1/2 cup organic quick oats

1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or your milk of choice)

2 tsp. cinnamon

1/2 apple, chopped into mini cubes

1/4 cup walnut pieces

1 T almond butter (2 T if you’d like a whole serving and a nuttier taste)

1/4 cup granola

What to do:

1. Mix the oats, milk, apple, and 1 tsp. of cinnamon together in a glass bowl.

2. Microwave for 1:45 – 2 minutes. Mix.

3. Stir in almond butter.

4. Sprinkle with second tsp. of cinnamon, granola, and walnuts.

5. Stir it all together and EAT an amazing breakfast!
