A healthy vacation is happy vacation! I’m still living it up at the Fitness & Health Blogger’s Conference in Colorado, but just because I’m on vacation doesn’t mean I’ve ditched my regular healthy eating habits. Here’s a snapshot of what I ate today.
- Oatmeal with raisins, banana, cinnamon, and walnuts. (Looks kind of similar to a lot of the breakfasts I eat at home, no? :P)
- Salad with chicken, mango, corn, and avocado. YUM! YUM! YUM!
- Chicken Burrito, courtesy of a Chipotle sponsored dinner on the conference center’s rooftop tonight.
OK, OK! And I had a few snacks in between thanks to all of the yummy goodies that were being handed out at the conference all day. In all seriousness though, some treats on vacation are OK, but a getaway from home should never be an excuse to completely ditch healthy eating!
Just Remember: When you eat poorly, you’ll likely feel like crap. And nobody want’s to feel like crap on vacation. Am I right? Eat well on vacation, feel well on vacation!
